There was a great "Buzz" in Second Class last week when Riette Gora made her annual Bee Presentation to the students of Mr. Moonan and Mr. Smith's 2nd Class. She brought her usual energy to the day and a suite of excellent resources that the children loved to see, including a queen bee and her hive! She also had wax candles and a full bee suit, modelled by her son. Conservation of the bee's habitat was the main theme of the day and the classes learned a lot about how they can do this in their own gardens at home. The school wishes to thank Riette for her ongoing presentations and giving of her time so freely to help educate the children at Tullyallen NS!
