We had a lovely time yesterday celebrating Eid al-Fitr!It was our simple way of marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan for the children in our school. Ramadan is a very special month for Muslims.It’s a time when they focus on their faith, being kind to others, and thinking about people who have less than they do.
Once the month of Ramadan is over, everyone celebrates with a massive festival called Eid al-Fitr.This is the "Festival of Breaking the Fast," which is why we had our little gathering to celebrate the end of the fasting for the children who took part.
