At Tullyallen N.S., we take a fun and engaging approach to Mathematics, in line with the new Primary Maths Curriculum. These activities highlight some of the playful and meaningful ways our pupils explore Maths — not just during Maths Week, but as part of our everyday learning throughout the year.
During Maths Week, our senior pupils also take on the important role of Maths Mentors. They work with our younger classes, teaching them how to play Maths games and take part in activities that develop confidence and strengthen mathematical thinking — all while having fun! They are wonderful role models and definitely future teachers in the making!
A big thank you to our teachers for making Maths Week and Maths lessons every week, so much fun and engaging for all! Thank you to our SNAs for helping pupils feel comfortable, focused, and ready to take an active part in their Maths learning. Well done to all of our pupils for their enthusiasm this week and for always giving their best in class each day.
