New Green Flag conferred!

We are delighted to announce that the School is now the proud owner of a new Green Flag! We are receiving this flag, our seventh so far, for Global Citizenship: Energy and Waste management in the school. Along with our new solar panels which were recently installed, the children and staff have been doing their best to save as much energy as possible in the school by turning off al lights when the classes are outside, and switching off white boards too. 
The conferring of the flag by An Taisce will take place in the Fairways Hotel on Wednesday morning and photos of the big day will follow! A big congratulations to all who made this possible, it was definitely a team effort from the school.
