Prayer Assemblies in Honour of St. Brigid

8th Feb 2026

On Wednesday, January 28th, our school community came together as our Junior and Senior classes gathered in the hall for a special prayer assembly honoring St. Brigid.

The hall was filled with music as the children performed a beautiful rendition of "We Sing a Song to Brigid," a hymn they have been practicing hard in their classrooms. We also spent time reflecting on the famous story of St. Brigid’s Cloak and its message of generosity.
Many thanks to Mr. Moonan our RE Coordinator & Mrs. Molloy who organised and led the Assemblies.

We invite you to browse the gallery below to see photos from the assembly, including the wonderful "Cloak" created by our First Class students and the traditional St. Brigid’s crosses crafted by Third Class.
