Hugely proud of our soccer team today, who competed so well in the Peter O’Reilly Memorial tournament in Utd Park. Our captain, is seen holding the Sportmanship award. The children were selected as the team that displayed the best spirit and values of the tournament. We are immensely proud of this honour. Congratulations to Scoil Oilibhèir Naofa overall winners and St. Paul's as runners-up. In our group, we were narrowly beaten by the eventual winners and enjoyed a great game to pip St. Paul's by a scoreline of 2-1. A hugely enjoyable day, with thanks to St Joseph's CBS for the invitation, all the staff and players at Drogheda Utd and all the organisers and referees.
