To celebrate World Book Day, our pupils took part in a Silly Reading Challenge — and they certainly rose to the challenge! Children were encouraged to find the silliest places they could think of to read, and the results were fantastic. Books appeared in all sorts of unexpected spots around the home, proving that a good story can be enjoyed absolutely anywhere.
We also made the most of the beautiful sunshine by teaming up with Ms McKenna’s 3rd Class for some lovely paired reading outdoors. It was wonderful to see the children sharing stories, helping each other with tricky words, and enjoying their books together in the fresh air.
